The 37th DVA offers an annual scholarship grant program. The purpose of the program is to provide funds from investments that will be used to assist veterans and descendants of veterans of the 37th Infantry Division (37th ID) in obtaining post-high school and advanced education by providing scholarships.
Please note that the 37th ID was a US Army division. Although we value all military service only applicants that meet the criteria below are eligible to apply.
To be eligible to apply for a scholarship, you must be a current member of the organization in good membership standing or be the direct lineal descendant (to the third generation) of such a member. Please refer to the MEMBERSHIP tab for more information on membership.
The 2015 program began on January 1, 2015, with scholarship grant applications due May 1, 2015. Notifications letters will be sent out in late June.
The 2016 program will begin on 1/1/2016 when the 2016 application is posted online. If you would like to see a sample application, please see the link below.

In the comments section, please indicate that you are inquiring about your eligibility and list the sponsoring 37th ID veteran’s full name, unit of service and date of death if applicable as well as the veteran's relationship to you (i.e. self, father, grandfather).
