Grants

The 37th DVA offers an annual scholarship grant program.  The purpose of the program is to provide funds from investments that will be used to assist veterans and descendants of veterans of the 37th Infantry Division (37th ID) in obtaining post-high school and advanced education by providing scholarships.

Although we value all military service, please note that the 37th ID was a division in the U.S. Army and Ohio National Guard.  Only applicants that meet the criteria below are eligible to apply.

To be eligible to apply for a scholarship, you must be a current member of the 37th DVA in good membership standing or be the direct lineal descendant (to the third generation) of such a member. Please refer to the MEMBERSHIP tab for more information on membership.

The submission deadline for the 2025 program was May 1, 2025. Applications are currently being reviewed and awards should be communicated in early June. A link to the 2026 application will be posted no later than January 1, 2026.  The current year application is posted below as an example of what to expect.
