The 37th DVA offers an annual scholarship grant program. The purpose of the program is to provide funds from investments that will be used to assist veterans and descendants of veterans of the 37th Infantry Division (37th ID) in obtaining post-high school and advanced education by providing scholarships.
Although we value all military service, please note that the 37th ID was a division in the U.S. Army and Ohio National Guard. Only applicants that meet the criteria below are eligible to apply.
To be eligible to apply for a scholarship, you must be a current member of the 37th DVA in good membership standing or be the direct lineal descendant (to the third generation) of such a member. Please refer to the MEMBERSHIP tab for more information on membership.
The 2018 program will begin on January 1, 2018. Scholarship grant applications are due no later than May 1, 2018. Notifications letters are usually sent out in late June. The 2018 application can be found at the link below.
Applicants must contact the 37th DVA to confirm eligibility. To do so, please send an email to our Executive Director Mandy Oberyszyn at [email protected] Please note that previous scholarship awardees must submit a new application each year they wish to be considered for a grant.
